The Vapor Technology Association is having it’s 3rd annual National Conference this year on June 26-27th. It promises to be a great two days for those who are active in advocacy or who want to learn more about what’s going on with the vapor industry and the FDA.

The conference will have a variety of different keynote speeches, a networking reception, and a day lobbying on the hill. The keynote speakers will cover a great amount of information regarding battery standards and safety, shifting deeming timelines and requirements, reclaiming the public health narrative, ending improper marketing, industry youth initiatives, social media and advocacy, defending flavored eliquids, good manufacturing practices, FDA inspections, growing state vapor associations, local vapor fights, funding state groups, and state house roundup. Besides the tremendous amount of information you’ll learn, they even supply a nice breakfast and lunch.

JUNE 25 KICK-OFF WITH ATR:  This year’s conference will kick off on Monday evening, June 25, 2018, with a pre-conference welcoming reception sponsored by Americans for Tax Reform at their offices, 722 W. 12^th Street NW, 6^th Floor, Washington, DC, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.   Many thanks to Paul Blair and the folks at ATR for welcoming us back this year.

JUNE 26 VTA CONFERENCE at the Trump International Hotel, 1100 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, D.C.

7:00 a.m.  Registration Opens

7:30 a.m.  Welcoming Breakfast sponsored by RAI Services

8:30 a.m.  Conference starts with an action-packed agenda and full-day of speakers covering virtually every core issue confronting our industry including issues dealing with youth, our fight to save flavors, battery safety and education, UL 8139, the science behind the flavors, 2018 state legislative round-up, our 2019 state legislative focus, FDA’s Unified Agenda, and a political preview of the 2018 elections, along with a variety of other issues.

6:30 p.m.  Networking Reception Hosted by E-LiquiTech.  Relax and connect or reconnect with colleagues over cocktails and heavy hors d’ouerves as we digest the day’s activities and get ready for our Day on the Hill.

JUNE 27 DAY ON THE HILL:  Our lobbying team will be taking 100+ people to Capitol Hill to press Congress on the importance of flavors and for a rational regulatory scheme that doesn’t block innovation at the border.
